Our Awards

In June 2019, Lauren took out the top gong at the IWIB Awards, winning IWIB Business Woman of the Year 2019. This was an amazing effort and win by Lauren, proving that Lauren is doing great things not only for Active Property Conveyancing, but for her leadership in the community. In July 2019 Lauren has been announced as Finalist in the AusMumpreneur of the Year Award, with the winners getting announced in Melbourne in September.

2018 was a successful year for Active Property Conveyancing where we were announced as finalist in four categories of the Illawarra Women in Business Awards. Lauren went on to win the IWIB Innovative Business Women 2018 category at the Awards Day lunch in June 2018 and also received Highly Commended in the IWIB Business Woman of the Year 2018. Active Property Conveyancing was also a finalist in Best Small Business and Customer Focus Award.

In July 2018, Active Property Conveyancing won the Specialised Business category at the Local Business Awards.

November 2018 saw Active Property Conveyancing announced as a finalist in the Optus My Business National Awards for Property Business of the Year. They also received this same nomination in the 2017 Optus awards. This same month Lauren was announced as a Finalist in the President’s Award for the Australian Institute of Conveyancers NSW Awards.

Previous award nominations/award recognitions include:

• Finalist in three categories in the 2017 Illawarra Business Chamber Awards. Active Property Conveyancing was a finalist in the Excellence in Small Business and the Wollongong City Centre Business Excellence categories, and our Director, Lauren Buhagiar was a Finalist in the Young Entrepreneur category. Lauren then went on to receive Highly Commended in the Young Entrepreneur category.
• Finalist in two categories in the 2017 Illawarra Women in Business Awards for Best Small Business and Business Woman of the Year. Active Property Conveyancing received Highly Commended in the Best Small Business category.
• Finalist in two categories in the 2015 Illawarra Women in Business Awards for Best Small Business and Business Woman of the Year.
